What This Is All About

The little blurb to the left says: "This network promotes the pursuit of personal happiness and well-being and self-worthiness. "

Basically, this whole network right here is more than the pursuit. It is the lifestyle of being at peace with the individual self, of finding deeper truths to self. It is the belief that you find your own truths that works for you in this world we live in. It is the fact that there are various answers for yourself and for others, not just a set way or one specific answer.

It means we talk about stuff like Law of Attraction, parenting, health, philosophy, friendship, etc - the things that we find and can relate to that contributes to personal happiness. Oh, and arguing? Makes one feel pretty crappy, so don't do it. Discussion is welcomed.

It is being a happy face. ;P It is knowing that, well, duh, we are all worthy. It seems simple, but living in the culture we do, it's really that much harder to grasp. Enjoy.

Happy Quotes

"Always be moving forward. Never stop investing. Never stop improving. Never stop doing something new. The moment you stop improving your organization, it starts to die. Make it your goal to be better each and every day, in some small way. Remember the Japanese concept of Kaizen. Small daily improvements eventually result in huge advantages."

Woot. Acoustic is good. My sister and her husband has been talking about putting together a little jam session with Steven and anyone else in the area that wants to join. Steven wants to learn from Aaron (my brother in law). Aaron is pretty awesome…

This happens to everyone. Most of the Telemarketing companies are run by dramaqueens and they like to cycle people that are super bubbly and at the same time start shit. Basically if you dont get in peoples face and start shit, they fire…

UN HAPPY Times.

You know what makes me happy? BITCHING.I CANT STAND communisim. I dont like it not one bit.Communisim is my green eggs and ham. I would rather burn a field of oats than see it go to feed some un-deserving sot. ALOT of SCENE kids are pseudo advocates of commie values. They dont really have a firm grasp. They all think its one big clusterfuck of left wing commie liberal hippies that know so much bushcraft that they could put the little house on the praire kids to shame. The truth is even ole…See More

Solitude

SolitudeElla Wheeler WilcoxLaugh, and the world laughs with you;Weep, and you weep alone; For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth,But has trouble enough of its own.Sing, and the hills will answer;Sigh, it is lost on the air;The echoes bound to a joyful sound,But shrink from voicing care.Rejoice, and men will seek you;Grieve, and they turn and go;They want full measure of all your pleasure,But they do not need your woe.Be glad, and your friends are many;Be sad, and you lose them all,—There…See More

Just a few words.

As we prepare to sit down to our traditional holiday meal, surrounded by family both two and four legged, I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and offer a prayer for everyone's health, safety and well being in the days to come.In these hard times, remember to share your love with those around you, 'tis the only commodity increased when used.MongoSee More

A few of the more common ones, morels, chanterelle, puffball I have committed to memory, the rest I have to check some of my books to make a 100% certain identification. I'm not an expert by any means, but I get by.

Too cool for skool or fieldcraft for the newborn.

As I've written about earlier, I have a younger sister who is pregnant with her first. She's doing well and has recently started feeling the baby moving or "fluttering" as she puts it. The wee one isn't quite large enough to be felt by anyone else, but it's still early on.I'm quite excited about the prospects of a new little mountain troll running around. I've started making plans for teaching the wee one how to shoot and hunt, scout and track, fish and to identify herbs and mushrooms that are…See More
